Since he felt in love with his Mac Classic at the age of 6, Martin never cheated on the Apple. Elementary School (Mac Classic, System 7), Middle School (Performa 5200, Mac OS 8), High School (PowerMac G3, Mac OS 9) and Bachelor’s degree (Macbook Pro, Mac OS X), they grew and evolved together. Martin also has a killer chocolate cake recipe.

Nicolas in a Computer Science student in Grenoble, France. Born in 1985 in the Vosges, he is passionate about Internet and Webdesign. He is the maintainer of the new Jamendo search engine. He also loves to take some offline time to hike in the mountains near Grenoble.

Petr was born in 1990. He’s a student of Písnická high school and member of group Desineo. He’s also a open-minded and independent programmer of web applications.

Marek was born in Martin (Slovak Republic) but lived for five years in Brussels. He is a sysadmin with an open mind and will start working for Red Hat in March 2007.

Benjamin was born in 1982 in Albstadt, Germany. He is an IT student and will finish his diploma in 2007. His dream is to someday work for Google. He loves to listen to free music while he is programming.

nub is a Computer Science student from Lower Saxony, Germany. He speaks German, English and Russian.

Rene is an IT freelancer living in Germany. He was born in Thailand and grew up in Hamburg. He played drums in a band in the 90’s.

Arias was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco México in 1982. He is a web developer with strong feelings about Freedom, Open Culture, and Everything related. He is a strong Free Software Advocate in his home town, webmaster of his local Linux Group (http://glo.org.mx) and of the Free Software Festival (http://festivaldesoftwarelibre.org).

Françoise is a Spanish teacher in Metz, France. She has been successfully experimenting new learning methods with her students for years. She used to go to concerts with her son Sylvain when he was young. She always supported him through the creation of jamendo, which wouldn’t have existed without her and her husband Raphäel.

Sebastiano was born in Motta, Italy. He grew up in San Dona, around Venice. He currently lives near Milan. He is the executive producer of ccfestival, a live festival entirely based on copyleft music which takes place during summer in Italy.

Emmanuele was born in 1984 and used to live in Pomezia, near Rome. He is currently attending a BA in Religion and Theology at the University of Manchester, UK. He is mainly concerned with Open Source and its philosophy, drawing manga, playing guitar and harmonica, writing, listening to music and reading fantasy books.

Daniel was born in 1973. He is a desktop Linux user and free culture enthusiast from Warsaw, Poland. He mainly runs a polish news site about Linux/FLOSS (LinuxNews.pl) and sometimes does some translations for other FLOSS and FLOSS-promoting projects. In real life he works as a computer system administrator.

Marius is a helpful person, but he doesn’t have a lot of time for translations.

Likes English, Polish and German language.
Now, he is busy because of new tasks.
He prepares to pass TOLES certificate.

Alexandre was born and currently lives in Salvador, Brazil. He studies Computer Science at UFBA but cannot decide whether he is a computer geek or a musician, so he tries to be both! Maybe a future release from him on jamendo…

André was born in Salvador (Brazil) and loves computers and music. Since he found out about free licenses for softwares and media, he defended the idea. Currently, he is into a Computer Science Master’s degree in the University of Rennes 1 (France), focused on distributed systems. He also has two albums in Jamendo.

Lars was born in 1980 and currently lives in Solna, just north of Stockholm. He studies math at Stockholm University and computer science at the Royal Institute of Technology. He is trying to play guitar and keyboard but is more proficient in C++ and is working on Linux softsynths and sequencers as a hobby project.
